This shredder features a specialized cutting process where wood pieces are bent to 30° during the cutting stage. This allows microorganisms to penetrate the wood more effectively, which greatly speeds up the composting process. Branches are fed over a concavely shaped anvil and processed with high-precision sharp blades, resulting in thin 3 mm wood chips cut across the fiber direction.
User-friendly details include a transport handle integrated into the hopper and large transport wheels for easy mobility across the lawn. The machine is quick to open via its rotary lock for easy maintenance or cleaning. Safety is ensured by a mechanical engine brake, and the 2.1 kW electric motor provides steady power for branches up to 30 mm in diameter.
